Six teams of five, each one assigned a different category — Fintech, Recruitment and Future Commerce among them. We took Fintech.

A complete onboarding flow, working registration and login, a dashboard, and a Telegram bot.

The auth worked. That is the line between a prototype and a clickable mockup, and it is the line most 48-hour builds do not cross.

// The pitch

The product framed itself as a spending conscience rather than another budgeting app. The title slide ran the whole idea as a conversation: yo, you just spent $47 on boba — that’s your 3rd this week btw — relax, I’ll set a limit.

Tagline: your money bro.

// What 48 hours actually costs

Some of the team went past twenty-four hours without sleep. The rest got two or three. The photograph taken at 3am is the honest version of a hackathon result, and it belongs next to the one taken on stage.
